Gnomenclature Mosaic Studio
I specialize in fine art mosaics. While I delight in working with an endless variety of mosaic materials, my favorite medium is glass. The infinite variances in light, color, texture and reflective qualities create sparkling, shimmering works of art that change with light and shadow. They make unique and unforgettable gifts for the holiday season, and beyond.
My work has been seen recently in the Austin GuitarTown project. "Striking Texas Gold", a 10-foot gold mosaic guitar sculpture, graced the grounds at the Blanton Museum of Art through most of 2007, before being auctioned for several local charities. I also created "Maria Magdalena" for the set design of Zach Scott's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", which was featured in the Austin American-Statesman.
